<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly change reproducing to rewinding of a magnetic tape recorded already with an erroneous erasing preventing lug broken. CONSTITUTION:When the absence of a control signal is detected by a control signal detecting circuit 11 during detection of nonexistence of the erroneous erasing preventing lug provided to a tape cassette 9 by a detecting switch 8 for detecting the existence of the erroneous erasing preventing lug at the time of a reproducing mode, a changeover from the present reproducing mode to a rewinding mode is made by a control of a system control circuit 6.</p> |
