PURPOSE:To get anisotropic magnetic powder of rare earth-transition metal useful as magnetic powder for an anisotropic bond magnet without lowering magnetic property by pulverizing. CONSTITUTION:An R-M-B sintered magnet, which is gotten by mixing the power being shown by chemical formula: R2TM14B10, and the powder of R-M alloy consisting of a composition of R: 10-80at% and M: 20-80at% lower in fusing point than this R2TM14B1 and/or R-M-B alloy consisting of a composition of R: 5-30at%, M: 15-75at% and B: 65at%, and then, molding it in a magnetic field, and next, baking it, is exposed to hydrogen gas or nonoxidative gas which contains hydrogen gas at 0.1-10 atm at a temperature of 500 deg.C or less, and then, is pulverizing, and next, dehydration treatment is applied at a temperature above room temperature and below 500 deg.C. |
