COUNTING SOURCE AUTOMATIC CHANGING TIMER WITH BUILT-IN MICROCOMPUTER

PURPOSE:To automatically select the counting source of a timer without stopping the counting of the timer. CONSTITUTION:When a counting source switching setting value is preliminarily set in a counting source switching setting resistor 10, a comparator 9 compares the counting source switching setting value with the timer value of a timer 6. When the timer value is larger than the counting source switching value, the comparator 9 supplies a signal to the timer 6 from a counting source A via a gate 7, a counting stop/permission gate 4. When the timer value is not larger than the counting source switching value, the comparator 9 supplies a signal to the timer 6 from a counting source B via a gate 8 and a counting stop/permission gate 4 by controlling the gate 7, 8.
