<p>PURPOSE:To enable suppression of the side lobe generated when the pulse of the received echo is compressed by providing the lumping characteristic to the top and the end of the transmitting interval of the chirp signal in order to implement the window function processing. CONSTITUTION:An amplitude control circuit 4 receives the burst-shaped chirp signal fIC from a transmitting disperse type delay line 3, and the window is implemented by controlling the amplitude. Then, a transmitting mixer 5 mixes the weighted chirp signals fWC together with the offset frequency from a stable oscillator 13 which is an oscillating source of the local frequency common to a receiving mixer 9. An amplitude transmitter 6 transmits the mixed output frequency fT after amplification. On the other hand, the mixer 9 takes out the received chirp signal tRC by mixing with the offset frequency from an oscillator 13, and converts the signal into the compressed pulse signal fcp through the receiving disperse type delay line 10, and the video signal fr is obtained through a synchronizing detector 11.</p> |
