PURPOSE:To provide an illumination device, which can illuminate the whole working area effectively and whose light source part be protected strictly. CONSTITUTION:A supporting rod 2 is provided, which is to be installed in upright attitude on a base board 1 with possibility of removing. A bar-form fluorescent lamp body 3 is installed alongside the longitudinal side face of this supporting rod 2, and a suspension part 2A for suspending the rod 2 horizontally is installed at the side face of the supporting rod 2. A mesh-form guard 4 to protect the fluorescent tube 3A of the lamp body 3 is arranged alongside the fluorescent tube 3A. The base table 1 is furnished with a support 1A, and the supporting rod 2 installed upright on the base table 1 is supported approx. horizontally together with the table 1. |
