PURPOSE:To form a photosensitive resin layer which does not generate stains at the time of application of the protective layer and does not exert the adverse influence of heat on a photosensitive resin layer by bringing the protective layer into contact with the surface of the photosensitive resin layer under pressurization and transferring the protective layer from a base having a good release property to the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive resin layer is applied by a coating machine 2 onto a web formed by coating the surface of the base let off from a let-off roller 1 with a release layer. Only the protective layer of a roll 11 previously formed with the protective layer on the base 12 having the good release property is pressurized and adhered to a web 13 dried by a drying machine 3 at nip rollers 4 and thereafter, the web is taken up by a take-up roll 5. Namely, the protective layer is pressurized and adhered onto the photosensitive resin layer in the predried state so that the photosensitive resin layer has the protective layer thereupon before taking up. Then, the staining of the photosensitive resin layer at the take-up roll or the thermal influence at the time of coating of the protective layer is obviated. |
