<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a helical scan system rotary head drum device and hence to contrive miniaturization of the whole VTR to which the rotary head drum is applied and then to enable a tape cassette to move above the rotary drum device. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with a fixed lower drum 10 fitted slantwise to a chassis of the VTR with a shaft 11 vertically erected and fixed, a rotary drum 30 having a head 31 protruded from its outer circumferential surface 30a by a prescribed amt. and being supported freely rotatably via a bearing 28, etc., by a middle part 11b of the shaft 11 and a fixed upper drum 40 fixed to an upper end part 11a of the shaft 11, and an upper side to be projected above the fixed upper drum 40 is slantingly cut off.</p> |
