The subject of the present invention is an electric barrier device of the rake type intended to allow free entry and controlled entry and exit of vehicles in selective-access premises. The rake is equipped, over its entire length, with a shaft (1) fitted with a lug (2) intended electrically to control the retraction of the teeth of the rake (3) into the structure (4) by the action of a motor (5) in order to allow controlled exit of vehicles. The teeth of the rake are held in a semi-vertical position by the addition of a return spring. The inclination of the teeth will be such that they will inflict severe damage to the tyres of the vehicles violating the barrier when leaving, while they can be retracted freely and independently of one another for any entering vehicle. The rake may be equipped with a manual device for retracting the rake using a key or a small crank in order to remedy the absence of motor force. The rake may advantageously benefit from a de-icing device acting by electrically heating the rake during bad winter weather. <IMAGE>
