The invention comprises a device for igniting the propulsive charge of a munition, especially a telescoped munition, of the type comprising a housing (2) of overall cylindrical shape in which are housed a pyrotechnic composition (3) and a means (4) for initiating the latter. The housing (2) has at least one back wall (6) traversed by several channels (10) which extend along an axis (A1) which is inclined with respect to the axis (A) of the housing (2).
