The subject of the present invention is a clamp for gripping at least one electrical wire for equipping a cabling machine, the said clamp (8) includes jaws (83, 84) in the shape of a two-pronged fork, the jaws (83, 84) of which are articulated in a clevis (81a); the gripping parts of the jaws of the clamps include at their extremity a notch (83a1-83b1/84a1-84b1) bounded by a curved edge, which notches join together in pairs on closing the clamp to form two housings which are symmetric with respect to the closing plane (yy1) of the clamp, which further includes two pushers (137a, 137b) joined together by a bridge of material (137c) so as to be actuated together, in such a way that the member called framer (137) consisting of the pushers and the said bridge adopts the shape of a U, each pusher including one V-shaped end for applying the wires against the lower edge of the clamp in closed position. <IMAGE>
