The invention relates to a device for displaying or concealing, as desired, any image, and protecting it. It consists of a main frame (1) equipped with an inner door (2) connected to it by hinges (3) and provided with a bolt (4). A support for the image, which is made level, fits on to the main frame (1) and the assembly is mounted on the wall by means of lugs situated on each side of the main frame (1). The second frame (12) fits over the first to hide the fastenings. The device according to the invention is particularly intended as a frame for works of art such as drawings, etchings, photographs and the like. <IMAGE>
