METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING FUZZY PATTERN

PURPOSE:To provide the method and the device for identifying patterns with high accuracy while being adaptive to the change of an identified system with the passage of time or the condition by eliminating the problems of the conventional pattern identification depending on fuzzy theory. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a pattern signal input part 11 to generate a signal expressing the pattern of the identified system, membership function storage part 13 to store a three-dimensional membership function expressing a fuzzy area allocated to the candidate of the pattern to be identified, and operation processing part 14 to calculate the degree of validity for the candidate of the pattern to be identified and to output the candidate applying the maximum degree of validity as the identified result.
