PURPOSE:To provide a board detection device for an X-Y table in an electronic part mounting apparatus, the board detection device serving to detect the presence of a printed board placed on the X-Y table for positioning the printed board without being affected by the position of cut-away portion in the printed board. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a fixed guide 4 fixed to an X-Y table body 1, a movable guide 3 capable of small movement in the direction of Y on the X-Y table body 1 and serving to hold and position a printed board 2 together with the fixed guide 4 and a sensor 18 for detecting the amount of movement of a movable guide 3. Thus, the printed board is detected by the amount of the movement of the movable guide 3 detected by the sensor 18. |
