摘要

PURPOSE:To install a radio base station with simple transmission line configuration even at a location where cable installation is difficult and to easily expand a radio communication enable area (service area). CONSTITUTION:A radio base station 6'' and a private branch exchange station 7 are respectively provided at least with a conversion section 3 converting a communication electric signal S1 into an optical signal S2 or vice versa, an optical communication antenna 11 emitting the optical signal S2 to space or receiving the optical signal S2 sent through space, and an optical fiber cable 4 interconnecting the conversion section 3 and the optical communication antenna 11 and with an optical amplifier 10 if the level of the optical signal S2 to be received has less margin, and the private branch exchange station 7 is provided with a private branch exchange 1 controlling lines and a modem 2 modulating a communication signal S0 from the private branch exchange 1 into a communication electric signal S1 to the conversion section 3, and the optical signal S2 sent to space via the antenna 11 is the optical signal S2 in the optical fiber cable 4.
