<p>PURPOSE:To make the information generated by a pointing device into line segment. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom surface of a pointing device main body 1, two moving amount detection mechanisms 2 having a track ball 2a are provided. In the surroundings of the track ball 2a, the total of 8 projections for the reduction of moving friction 4a, 4b whose hights are different so that the track ball 2a is capable of operating independently are provided. On the top surface of the device main body 1, two click operation detection mechanisms 3 are provided and on the side surface, a code for information transmission 5 is provided. When the device is used, the device main body 1 is inclined using the projection for the reduction of moving friction 4b as a bearing and the track ball 2a is made to operate independently.</p> |
