PURPOSE:To sound a ringing tone means provided in the radio selective calling receiver to generate a call tone in a different sound pressure without making the circuit configuration complicated. CONSTITUTION:The receiver consists of a circuit means (decoder) outputting a I/O pattern digital signal at a predetermined period to a 1st terminal 6A in two terminals to which a voltage to ring a ring means (piezoelectric buzzer) 6 is applied, a circuit means (inverter) 11 outputting a digital signal whose phase is inverted to the former digital signal, and a changeover means (changeover switch) 12 selecting a signal outputted to a 2nd terminal 6B of the ring tone means to be the inverted digital signal and a signal of a prescribed potential.
