<p>PURPOSE:To expand the range of the brightness of an object, which can be automatically set by fixing a diaphragm value or shutter speed to a threshold, and changing a manually set shutter speed or diaphragm value according to a photometric value. CONSTITUTION:When a hyperprogram exposure mode is selected, electronic dials 17 and 19 are rotationally operated, to obtain the up and down changes of the shutter speed or the diaphragm value corresponding to the rotationally operating directions of the electronic dials 17 and 19, and further, the shutter speed or the diaphragm value is changed by the operations of the electronic dials 17 and 19 after a change to an automatic exposure mode is attained. In a shutter speed or diaphragm priority automatic exposure mode, which is set on a body, when an automatically set diaphragm value or shutter speed reaches the threshold according to the photometric value, the automatically set diaphragm value or shutter speed is held on the threshold, and the manually set shutter speed or diaphragm value is changed according to the brightness of the object.</p> |
