PURPOSE:To shorten processing time in the case of generating error by setting a logical block address first generating the error and setting a final logic block address executing recording to a byte different from an information byte in sense data. CONSTITUTION:When the error is generated in a command with a recording operation, 'the block first generating the error when being observed as a command' is set to the Information Byte in the sense data and 'the final logical block executing the recording' is set to the other byte different from the Information Byte. Therefore, the final block actually completing the recording effective for an initiator to execute retry can be impressed as information, and the initiator does not execute useless retry such as executing the recording to the block surely generating write error (double write) or the like. |
