Modular storage container, i.e. one that can be assembled with any number of identical containers to form a rigid assembly of the appropriate shape and dimensions for its purpose, of the kind produced by folding and by assembling, using pairs of tabs and slots, a single blank of a semi-rigid material which is precut and scored to form panels forming the sides of this container, one side being open, to form a storage space which is always accessible from the front, the container being characterised in that said single blank of a semi-rigid material comprises means designed - on the one hand (7, 12, 17, 18) to reinforce the stiffness of the perimeter of the open side, to permit these containers to be stacked on top of each other, while also facilitating access thereto, - and on the other hand (40, 42-44, 46) to allow these containers to be assembled lateral side to lateral side and the resulting assembly to be simultaneously locked together. <IMAGE>
