<p>Tensioning means includes a pair of gripping cleats (23) which tension the ends of one or more conductors (18). The cleats (23) are mounted within a secure box (20) the opening of which triggers an alarm. The conductors (18) are suitably used to secure the periphery of a flexible closure (14), for example, securing goods to the bed (12) of a commercial vehicle. The conductors (18) are connected to an alarm control unit (17) which is operable in response to the breakage of a conductor (18). The flexible closure (14) may also include a network of conductors connected into the alarm control unit (17).</p> |
