<p>System for the real-time determination of the positions of players and a ball on a sports pitch, whereby the number of sporting statistics may be computerized and increased. The players (1) and the ball (2) carry a miniature transmitter. At least two receivers (3) placed around the pitch (4) allow real-time determination of the bearings of the miniature transmitters. A computer (5) computes the meeting point of the two bearings to determine several times every second the positions of the players and the ball. Said device is particularly suitable for calculating speed and distance covered so that the possibilities for obtaining sporting statistics are increased.</p> |
