PURPOSE:To contrive to realize efficient and uniform vulcanization by a method wherein vulcanizing steam and high pressure gas are used in combination according to the vulcanization step of a tire. CONSTITUTION:A tire 2 is installed in molds 1 and at the same time a bladder 3 is installed on the inner surface of the tire. By charging shaping medium from a nozzle 5, the bladder 3 is fixed by pressure on the inner surface of the tire 2. Next, by changing over a change-over valve 71 and at the same time opening a valve 81, steam having a pressure of about 15kg/cm<2> is charged from a tank 8 through a piping 7 and the nozzle 5 into an interior space 6 for 5min. Next, by opening a valve 82, high pressure pressurizing gas having a pressure of 18kg/cm<2> and a temperature of about 40 deg.C is charged into the tank 8. By charging said gas in the space, the already charged steam is further compressed, resulting in raising its pressure. By the raised pressure, the tire is efficiently heated and vulcanized. |
