It is the purpose of the invention with the use of simple means to provide a pole of a power switch having the lowest possible contact resistance in the current conduction region. The switch pole consists of a switching chamber (1) secured by means of the chamber bearers (2, 3) to shoulders on the switch housing (4). In addition,the chamber bearers (2, 3) are supported on shoulders on the appropriate contact bearers (5, 6). The contact bearers (5, 6) project into the switch housing (4) though appropriate apertures (13, 14) which are surrounded by collars (7, 8). An insulating tube (9, 10) which centrally surrounds the appropriate contact bearer (5, 6) is secured to these two collars (7, 8). At the end of the contact bearers (5, 6) away from the switch housing (4) there is a contact component (11, 12) to contact the counter-contact pin. The invention makes it possible for the first time to reduce the total contact resistance within the power switch to a minimum. |
