Massager with U=shaped vibratory band - has motor driving ends of band in counter phase, with stroke of two to five centimetres

The massager has a flat strip-shaped massage band (27) whose two free ends are driven to and fro by drive members operating in counter-phase. The drive members are coupled to a motor (45) and the ends (25,26) of the massage band perform purely translational motion in the same plane (E). The massage band is formed from individual partial areas e.g. in the form of a Terry material for providing a good grip. The band has a divided structure in the depth direction. The stroke (S) of the band is no greater than two to five centimetres. USE - Esp. for treatment of cervix-spinal column syndrome suffered by tractor drivers, sewing machinists, office workers, etc.
