The invention concerns a device for controlling the rate of flow of, in particular, air in an air conduit. Mounted in the air stream or in a part of the air stream is a sensor probe (6) which is connected to a regulation and control unit (7) which controls for instance a servomotor (8) actuating a throttle valve (9) located in the conduit, the sensor probe (6) being electrically insulated from its mounting on or in the air conduit.
