The holder and support is for additional bottles (7) placed on a crate (1) which is already full of them.It is of flat tear-resistant strip incorporating in succession a supporting (3,4) and a holding (8) portion. The first is wound in the lengthwise direction round one of the crate handles (6), while the second has one or more holes (5) extending in the transverse direction, and in which the additional bottles are secured. The supporting portion can be narrower than the holding one, typically tapering. It can be of woven jute, hemp or metal, or of plastic net.
