The direction-finding antenna has several passive, dipole antenna elements (3, 4) which are mounted side by side and which are connected separately through a balancing transformer (5, 6, 7) and at least one switching diode (9) with an evaluating unit. The switching diode is introduced between the input (1, 2) and the output (12, 13) of the transducer at the place (8) where the push-pull signal voltage of the antenna elements (3, 4) connected to the input (1, 2) is zero relative to earth. ADVANTAGE - Compact design which does not adversely affect sensitivity of system.
