The pleat-folded fibre block is held together by a bar passed through all layers and held at the ends by plates to give a block which can be fixed by a holder to the furnace etc. roof or wall parts. The holder consists of a round steel, hook (6) which is pushed in through two fibre layers (1) towards the bar (2) and which bends round (7) at the end to grasp the bar. The far end of the hook projects from the block and is fixed to wall or roof part. USE/ADVANTAGE - Furnace fitments, burner ports. Hanger hook enables block to be machined on site as required before hook is fitted.
