An endless strip of sheets (2) is wound onto a bearer roller (1) and as it is unwound it runs over a spinning roller arrangement comprising a static roller (3) and two rollers (5) located on a pivot arm (4). The pivot arm is rotatable around the axis of the bearer roller (1) and tensioned by spring force (A). The bearer roller is braked by a short stroke cylinder (7). At the upper end of the pivot arm (4) is a stirrup (6). The spinning roller arrangement (3-5) acts as an intermediary feed for the endless strip.
