Cartridge for an implant gun contains implantable pellets. The cartridge is an elongate carrier strip having uniformly spaced pellet holders there along. Each holder has a cavity for holding one and pref. two pellets. The cartridge is pref. injection moulded from low density polyethylene or polypropylene. The cavities are pref. provided with inward protruberances at one end to resist inadvertent release of a pellet and the other end is pred. closed by a thin perforotable layer which may be a plastics film, metal foil or laminate. If a plastics fily is used, it can be produced as part of the injection moulding process. If the pellets need to be protected from moisture, then the end contg. the protruberances can also be closed by a thin perforated layer.
