Compounds of the general formula: <CHEM> wherein R1 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom; R2 represents a halogen atom; R3 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl group; R4 and R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or aralkyl group; or R4 and R5 together form an alkylene group; X and Y each independently represents an oxygen or sulphur atom; and r is 0 or 1, with the proviso that at least one of R3, R4 and R5 is not a hydrogen atom when both R1 and R2 represent a chlorine atom, X and Y both represent an oxygen atom and r is 0, have useful pesticidal activity.
