A miniature motor comprises a metallic case (1) formed into a cylinder closed at one end, and having a permanent magnet (2) fixedly fitted to the inner circumferential thereof. A rotor (5) comprising an armature (3) and a commutator (4) is rotatably supported by bearings (9,10) provided on the bottom of the case (1) and a case cap (6) fitted to the open end of the case (1). The cap (6) has brushes (7) which make sliding contact with the commutator (4), and input terminals (8) electrically connected to the brushes (7). The terminals (8) are fixedly fitted to the cap (6) by means of lanced and raised retainer pieces (15) formed on the input terminals (8) near the outer face of the cap (6). <IMAGE>
