<p>The system comprises an actuator (H) with a movable element (4) adapted to steer the rear wheels of the vehicle, and control devices (C) for the displacement of the said movable element (4). The control devices comprise two driver stages (14A, 14B) controlled by two independent processors (A, B) and adapted to effect, together or separately, the controlled activation of the actuator (H) according to the characteristics of respective control signals. A safety solenoid valve (15-20) displaces and maintains the said movable element (4) in a predetermined neutral position, corresponding to no steering of the said wheels, when one enabling signal fails to reach an enabling input (18) generated by the said processors (A, B). <IMAGE></p> |
