摘要

1-isopropyl-2-methyl imidazole is a useful accelerator for the production of epoxy resins, whether cured by anhydrides or by dicyandiamide. Compositions containing 1-isopropyl-2-methyl imidazole as accelerator have a practically useful pot life and provide cured resins which are resistant to heat and chemicals, and can be used for encapsulating electronic components.
