PURPOSE:To laminated piezoelectric element invalves a problem that it causes a dielectric breakdown during its use if the electrical resistivity of the piezoelectric material used in the element is low, because the thickness of the layer in the element is small, i.e., approximately 100mum. There is provided a laminated piezoelectric element material for actuators having high electrical resistivity and a high piezoelectric constant. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric porcelain composition having a basic composition of Pb(ZrxTiy)O3 (wherein x+y=1; 0.54<=x<=0.57, comprises 10-15mol% of the Pb atoms substituted by at least one of Ca, Sr and Ba; 0.30-3.0wt.% of Sb expressed in terms of Sb2O3; 0.01-0.05wt.% of at least one from Mn, Cr and Fe expressed in terms of MnO2, Cr2O3 and Fe2O3, respectively. |
