PURPOSE:To provide a lever type hoist provided with a structure in which position adjustment in a direction of height of a lower hook at the time of no load can be safely and continuously performed by small acting force to prevent a rated load from changing during hoisting work. CONSTITUTION:An engaging part, where a cone-shaped friction member 17 of engaging in a direction of rotation relating to a pressing drive member 15 and an intermediate member 24 spline connected on a drive shaft 4 are mutually engaged in the direction of rotation, is provided, and both the engaging parts are engaged at idle rotation time of a load sheave 2 to effectively prevent a turning force transmitting member 18 from coming into contact with the other constitutional member. A supporting ring 21 is provided extending to the periphery of an operating ring 22 in the axial directional outside position of the turning force transmitting member 18, and an external side tubular part 20a of an operating lever 20 is supported during winding work by this supporting ring to prevent an external pressure from being applied to the operating ring 22. |
