PURPOSE:To treat air using an air treatment device having not only high treatment capacity and multiple treatment function but also air moving function, reduced in noise and having the deodorizing and dehumidifying action of air, aroma imparting action or the removing action of foreign matter. CONSTITUTION:Air thin layers (b) are formed between a large number of discs (a) so as to hold a definite interval and function decomposing or removing foreign matter in air or function imparting aroma to air is applied to the surfaces of the discs and the aforementioned various functions applied to the surfaces of the discs are promoted by the air self-blowing function of the air thin layers generated by rotating the discs.
