<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title antibody for immune measuring reagent, etc., capable of specifically recognizing mouse interleukin-6(mIL-6) produced in Escherichia coli bacterium and mIL-6 produced in an animal cell and participating in proliferation and differentiation of cell. CONSTITUTION:A mouse interleukin-6(mIL-6) produced in Escherichia coli bacterium or animal cell is administered to a rat in an mount of 100mug per time three times and spleen cell thereof is acquired and the acquired spleen cell is fused with rat myeloma cell YB2/O in the presence of polyethylene glycol and the fused cell is cultured in a HAT medium to afford a hybridoma. Then the hybridoma is screened to select a clone capable of producing anti-mIL-6 antibody and the positive clone is subjected to cloning by a limiting dilution method, etc., to subject the clone to monocloning and the monocloned hybridoma is transplanted into nude mouse and proliferated and antibody in abdominal dropsy is separated and purified to provide the objective anti-mIL-6 antibody.</p> |
