PURPOSE:To provide the above printing device by which labor and time to cope with jamming and duplicate feeding can be reduced and draft creation period of time can be shortened. CONSTITUTION:The length of a printed printing paper 3 is calculated (S1) by a period of time by which the printed printing paper 3 passes through a paper delivery detecting sensor 28. The calculation result SQ is compared with data SP concerning the length of the printing paper 3, which is previously stored in a ROM 44 (S2-S4) to decide the degree of paper jamming or duplicate feeding (S5, S6, S8, S10). Then, in response to the decision result, re-printing is performed (S7), the printing device is stopped (S11), and jamming process is urged to an operator (S12). |
