PURPOSE:To provide an aliph. copolycarbonate diol which is liq. at normal temp. and stabilized in the reactivity in a urethane-forming reaction by incorporating 1,4-butanediol units and 5-20C aliph. diol units in a specified ratio into the polycarbonate diol. CONSTITUTION:An aliph. copolycarbonate diol which comprises repeating units of formula I and repeating units of formula II (wherein R is 5-20C alkylene) in a ratio of (60:40) to (90:10).
