PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of a rigid and flexible layer rubber roller having high dimensional accuracy in a thickness and the outside diameter of a skin rigid material layer. CONSTITUTION:This is a manufacture of a rigid and flexible two layer roller constituted of a process where upon fitting of a flexible tubular molded product 1a, which is obtained by pot vulcanization of a crude sponge material extrusion- molded in a tubular state and cut into appropriate lengths, with an inner core 2, the surface of the flexible tubular molded product 1a is ground primarily and a semiproduct sponge roller 1 is obtained and a process where upon the pot vulcanization of the semiproduct sponge roller 1 by coating the surface of the same with a rigid material by a crosshead and forming a rigid material layer 3, the surface of the rigid material layer 3 is ground secondarily. |
