<p>PURPOSE:To surely assort sheets with a constant wind flow rate even if the condition such as the sheet thickness varies, in a sheet transport device equipped with a mechanism for assorting the sheets by the blowing of air from the side part to the sheets in piled state. CONSTITUTION:As for a device which successively sends out the sheets P placed on a tray 11 from the uppermost sheet P1 by the attraction with an attracting belt 18, a mechanism for blowing air from the side part of the sheet through a nozzle 16 is installed, in order to assort the sheet P, and the air blowing angle alpha of the nozzle 16 can be varied by the turn of a pipe 19. In case of a thin sheet, the blowing angle alpha is increased to reduce the wind quantity which collides with the sheet, and the floating-up of the sheet is prevented, while in case of a thick sheet, the blowing angle alpha is reduced to increase the wind quantity which collides with the sheet, and sure assortment is enabled.</p> |
