PURPOSE:To achieve effective diagnosis of aneurysm, arterial sclerosis and the like by providing an arithmetic means to compute acceleration in beating of a blood vessel based on a detection signal of an ultrasonic probe for receiving a reflected echo of a Doppler effect. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave is transmitted vertical to a blood vessel from a vibrator with a driver in an ultrasonic probe 1. The ultrasonic wave is turned to a reflected echo by a Doppler effect with a blood vessel tube to be received with the ultrasonic probe 1 and inputted into a memory 3 via an A/D conversion circuit 2. By a command from a CPU9, the echo is outputted to an FFT4 and a detection signal is analyzed in frequency and a data pertaining motions of contraction and relaxation of the blood vessel wall is outputted to be processed with an image processing circuit 6. A signal from the FFT4 is inputted into an acceleration computing circuit 5 and the signal outputted as data signal is turned to a video signal with the image processing circuit 6 to be applied to a monitor 8 via a D/A conversion circuit 7 for image processing. Likewise the signal outputted from the FFT4 is also converted and displayed with the image processing circuit 6. |
