PURPOSE:To eliminate the fluctuation of the present position data when a moving body is stopped and perform correct navigation when the moving body is traveled by prohibiting the present position change in a memory means while the moving body is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The GPS position measurement data DG from a GPS receiver 11 are inputted to a micro-computer 14 at the preset position measurement timing, then the speed data DV are inputted from a vehicle speed sensor 12 at this timing. The computer 14 judges the stop state when the speed of this vehicle is nearly zero based on those data. When the vehicle is not stopped, the previous position measurement data DG stored in a memory are updated, and the data are matched with the map data M stored in a CD-ROM drive 13 and displayed on a display 15. When the vehicle is stopped, the computer 14 displays the previous position measurement data DG without updating them. The vehicle position display or the map display is not fluctuated while the vehicle is stopped. |
