PURPOSE:To provide a railway system which reduces the maximum output of an electric railway transformer station in a high density operation line division and realizes energy saving. CONSTITUTION:A transformer station 20 sets a prescribed upper limit value of output, and monitors the all-time output by an output monitoring means 26, and when the output at the transforner station exceeds an upper limit value, a control instruction means 28 transmits a control instruction signal into one among an output control means 27, train group, and an operation management system or several devices among these, and the device which receives this instruction signal carries out output control or propulsion force control or both, and the output of the transformer station 20 is restricted to the prescribed value or less. Accordingly, the temporary peak of the output of the electric train transformer station can be suppressed, and the equipment capacity can be reduced. Further, accompanied by the adjustment of the propulsion force for the thrain group, each train is operated by the operation method having little loss, because of the gentle acceleration/deceleration, and the energy saving in the whole railway can be realized. |
