<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of an input image in accordance with a result of detecting an inclination of a straight line of a jaggy part related to a printer as an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The subject device is provided with a means 6 for detecting an inclination of a straight line of a jaggy part with respect to a main scanning direction; means 7 and 8 respectively specifying a magnitude of a single recording dot and a gap between the dots; and a divided recording dot shape determination means 9 for determining the recording width of two divided recording dots in a sub-scanning direction equal to the diameter of a single recording dot using the outputs of the means 6, 7 and 8. A jaggy part is reduced by dividing a part of single recording dots individually into two dots.</p> |
