摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of durability of a solid catalyst by phosphorus and to recover phosphorus by adsorbing phosphorus contained in a waste water in a state of orthophosphate ion on an adsorbing material and coming into contact with molecular state oxygen in a state holding liquid phase in the presence of the solid catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The waste water transferred from the line 9 and pressurized by the pump 3 is mixed with air supplied from the line 10. The gas-liquid mixture preheated through the heat exchanger 4 is fed into the adsorbing tower 1 packed with the adsorbent. As the adsorbent, an oxide selected among titanium, zirconium, aluminium and iron elements is used. Phosphorus is adsorbed on the adsorbent and orthophosphoric acid in the waste water is removed. Next, the gas-liquid mixture is introduced to the wet oxidizing tower 2. The wet oxidizing tower 2 is packed with a multiple oxide of titanium and zirconium as the catalyst A component, and a material containing platinum as the catalyst B component. In the wet oxidizing tower 2, TOC in the waste water is decomposed and the gas-liquid mixture is transferred to the gas-liquid separator after cooling.
