发明名称 THERMAL AIR FLOWMETER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce a pressure loss and to improve the precision in detection of a flow rate by a construction wherein a fixed part for fitting a plate-shaped member to a bridge part is provided inside an orthogonal part passage of an L-shaped (or T-shaped) sub-flow passage. CONSTITUTION:An orthogonal part passage 3b is formed by closing up a groove part of a bridge part 1a provided in the main body 1 of an aerometer, by a plate-shaped member 4. The plate-shaped member 4 is fixed by fastening it by one fixing screw 5 to a boss 1b as a fixed part provided in projection in the groove part of the bridge part 1a. The boss 1b is provided at the virtually central position of the section of a main air passage 2 in the passage 3b so that air in a sub-flow passage passes through the periphery thereof. Since the bridge part 1a has no projecting part nor a thick part necessary for fixation such as fastening by screws on the lateral side, it is possible to reduce the area of projection of the bridge part 1a when it is viewed in the flowing direction of the air in the passage 2 and to reduce a pressure loss, and the air flowmeter can be made small in size. Since the bridge part 1a has a smooth external shape, flows in the passage 2 and around exits 3d of the sub-flow passage can be made stable and thus the precision in detection can be improved.</p>
