PURPOSE:To lower the consumed electric power and to attain a compact size by driving a ceramic actuator without requiring a high voltage power source. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic actuator driving signal is modulated by a modulator 6 and signals of each part detected by a synchronizing detector 8 are shown in the figure. A driving signal (a) of the ceramic actuator having a low frequency is modulated by the modulator 6 through a rectangular wave (b) of a horizontally synchronizing frequency to become (c) in the figure. This signal (c), after the voltage is raised by a pulse transformer 7, is synchronously detected by the synchronizing detector 8 by the use of a horizontally synchronizing signal to obtain a high voltage driving signal (d). As mentioned above, without using a high voltage power source, the high voltage ceramic actuator driving signal is obtained. There is an advantage that as a transformer, a compact type pulse transformer can be used. |
