PURPOSE:To concurrently and clearly photograph two measurement points by squeezing the EV value of an object as small as possible in relation to the shutter speed in an electronic still camera system capable of displaying the size between two measurement points and the scale indicating the segment concurrently with the object. CONSTITUTION:When the size display is set and two measurement points are specified, a CPU 14 receives the information indicating the position, distance information, and zoom information and calculates the data on the size and the scale indicating the segment. The square root of the product of the most squeezed value of the EV value of an object in relation to the shutter speed and the distance to two measurement points is calculated to obtain the photographing distance, and the aperture and the focal distance of a focal point adjusting lens are adjusted via a shutter control circuit 16 and an iris automatic focus control circuit 18. Two measurement points are clearly photographed on a size display screen. |
